Students in 1st grade are participating in a Fairy Tale Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit. They were presented with a problem. "How can we use our knowledge about fairy tales and create a fairy tale map?" Students are learning to identify story elements common to fairy tales and then are analyzing the setting. Is there more than one? Students use their analysis to create a 14x14in. section of a map for each fairy tale. These sections will be put together to form one larger map. Stay tuned!
